Go Nude!

I think it is safe to say that the hottest trend at the moment is NUDE!  Not as in your birthday suit nude, as in the colour you should be wearing!

Nude and blush colours are exploding all over the celeb awards scene at the moment – and they look really, really lovely!

We saw Maggie Gyllehaal, Chloe Sevigney, Drew Barrymore, Katy Perry, Hayden Panettierre, Miquita Oliver and co wear nudes throughout January and we want to wear it too!!

The great thing about nude is that it is just your base colour and does not have to strictly be the fleshy, beige colour we all think it is.  Nude is a neutral colour and every colour has a neutral tone! (Yay!) So if you are into purples or blues and pinks and oranges – just look for something in that colour but in it’s lightest possible tone.   Take a look at the Vanity Fair photo shoot below – there is a lovely coral colour and powder blue which looks amazing!

The look is girly and elegant all at the same time and you can wear it day or night! We love nude!!

Also, did anyone see Victoria Beckham’s shoot for US Glamour Magazine??  Wow! Love the retro, 50’s housewife with a twist concept! She makes a great model   Also, a few of her designs have been worn by celebs during the last couple of awards ceremonies… ahem Courteney Cox-Arquette, Jennifer Hudson!
